Vonage And UTStarcom Partner To Introduce Portable WiFi Handset: PF-1000

Vonage announces WiFi handset
Today at CES Vonage announced the availability of UTStarcom's first portable WiFi handset, the PF1000. The 802.11b phone is similar in design to a cell phone, but contains all the functionality of a VoIP terminal adapter and cordless phone. Now you can make and receive calls from any available WiFi access point.

UTStarcom's F1000 WiFi handset untethers consumers from their traditional phone lines, allowing them to make calls from anywhere there is a WiFi hot spot's at home, at work, around the town; in airports, coffee shops, and hotels; and even internationally.
